Everything you need to know about this Street dancing celebration

As you witness the jaw-dropping performances at Kairos 2022, you will notice that all of them have a few things in common: originality, passion, and spontaneity!
You’ll wonder what makes these artists so free-flowing and yet appear well-rehearsed. Well, to find out, you have to visit one of the best festivals in Canada for Popping & Boogaloo.

And if you are wondering what dance festivals are celebrated in June, in Montreal, the Kairos Festival will tick all the right boxes for you too.
In this article, we’ll break down the concept and program schedule for this celebration of modern urban culture that binds people across nations and languages.

The Kairos Festival brings together local and international artists who engage in workshops, discussions, and of course – dance presentations and battles, that energize whole crowds with electrifying dance moves.

In this edition, the French company Art-Track will present the first Canadian version of the Hip Hop Games, which aims to unite research, performance & battle for Hip Hop artists and enthusiasts. The performances will encompass a wide range of disciplines such as DJing, Rap, & Beat Boxing.

This is one of the reasons why dance festivals are important. They bring together a diverse group of people, who in turn create magic with their creativity.
